4 Day Girl Scout Troop Tour

Monday

• Arrive in Savannah this morning.
• Check into your accommodations at the conveniently located in the Historic District and within walking distance to the Birthplace. You will have a full breakfast each morning.
• Lunch on your own
• Trolley will meet you at the hotel to begin your Discover Savannah Tour.
• Head down to River Street to begin your Dolphin Cruise along the Savannah river.
• Head back to Hotel, enjoy some free time at the pool, or shopping on East Bay , River street or Broughton Street.
• Dinner tonight will be at Skyler’s restaurant.
• After Dinner, head down to River street and hop aboard the Riverboat Cruise, to enjoy the Murder Afloat

Tuesday

• Full breakfast at hotel.
• This is your day for programming at the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace, which you have arranged directly with them (cost not included in this proposal).
• Pick up a box lunch and beverage and have a picnic in Wright Square or eat in the restaurant- just a short walk from the Birthplace.
• Return to the Birthplace for any afternoon programs
• Dinner tonight will be at the Pirate’s House, an old pirate’s hangout dating back to the 1700’s.
• After dinner, enjoy a ghost walk and hear ghostly tales and haunted legends of Savannah.

Wednesday

• Full breakfast at hotel.
• Transportation will meet you at the hotel for the ride to Tybee Island. (About 20-30 minutes)
• Go out to the Tybee Lighthouse and Museum and climb to the top for a terrific view!
• Pick up box lunches and have a picnic on the beach or at the Pavilion on Tybee Island.
• Visit the Tybee Marine Science Center and take part in their programs on the ecology of Coastal Georgia. (Girls will earn their Coastal Georgia badge, but badges must be purchased separately.)
• Enjoy some free time on the beach.
• Head back to Savannah.
• Dinner this evening will be a southern buffet at the Lady and Sons restaurant made famous by its owner, Food Network personality, Paula Deen.
• After dinner, climb aboard your horse drawn carriage for a lovely tour around Savannah’s streets and squares!

Thursday

• Full breakfast at hotel.
• Check out of hotel.
• Have some free time for shopping or exploring. There are great shops along River Street, in City Market and on Broughton Street.
• Transportation will meet you at the hotel, to begin transfers to the airport.
